So um if you guys have a question you want us to help you answer, uh just send it on over and uh and what do you know? Maybe you'll u maybe maybe I'll pick you up one day. All right, let's jump right into it. I want to start with Anthony. Anthony is the owner of a solar installer in San Diego. Um, says, "Hey, a lot of my customers are asking whether buying a solar system or going to the PPA makes more sense. From your experience, what's the best way to break that down for homeowners?" So, being that you're an installer, I'm assuming that you're uh maybe not constantly working in the sales side. Um, and so, let's break it down. Okay. So, uh, there's traditionally been a lot of ways that people go solar. I guess a couple big ones. You could either buy the system, like pay cash for it. Uh, you could get a loan out to pay for the system instead of you writing a check. Uh, you could do that, whether that's like through a credit union or your your home line of credit, uh, HELOC, something like that. You could also do what's called a PPA or a lease. Now, if you guys don't know, a PPA or lease stands for power purchase agreement. Uh and basically you're just buying electricity from the solar system uh that it makes. So if it makes 1,000 kilwatt hours a month, you're going to buy all 1,000 kilowatt hours a month at a set and predetermined price per kilowatt hour. Very much the same way that you buy electricity today from the power company uh for a fixed price per kilowatt hour. So um let's talk let's just break all those down real quick and I'll give you my take on which one I like best.
